    BRAZIL ON THE HILL 2007

June 26 - The Brazil on the Hill Annual Barbecue at the Brazilian Embassy has become a tradition in Washington, DC and one of the events that members of Congress most look forward to each summer.
It is the BIC’s most important yearly event, and it is crucial to our work of promoting closer relations between Brazil and the United States.
For the 7th Annual Brazil on the Hill Churrasco we partnered with Texas de Brazil Steak House and elevated the event to a new level of quality. The level of participation was the highest ever with 130 people from Congress, Executives and the Non-Profit community in Washington.

October 22-24 – FIPA 17th Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Inter-Parliamentary Forum of the Americas (FIPA).
FIPA is an independent network composed of the national legislatures of Organization of American States (OAS) member states, promoting parliamentary participation in the inter-American system and contributing to inter-parliamentary dialogue in dealing with issues on the hemispheric agenda.
Currently FIPA is presided by Congressman Luiz Carlos Hauly, from Brazil, who led the delegation to Washington, DC and held several meetings with members of the U.S. Congress.
